Amy Domangue and her sister decided to open their coffee shop in New Orleans and reached out to us for some branding and packaging work. The idea was to give them a modern typography, sophisticated look, with a hark to the historic districts of NOLA.
The mark represents coffee beans, coffee mug from a bird’s eye view, and the half milk half coffee of the classic café au lait, as the French would have it.
What a treat it was to design a second asset to their brand, their very own “Fleur”, used on their new “Geaux cup”.
