Charleston Symphony

About This Project

Under the guidance of Michael Smith, The Charleston Symphony sought to refresh its identity, broaden its appeal, and communicate a more forward-looking relationship with classical music. The challenge was to respect the institution’s heritage while creating a brand with the clarity and flexibility to engage new audiences.

With the direction of Kate Gray, we developed a renewed identity and a coordinated set of brand assets. In collaboration n collaboration with video extraordinaire Jay Wayne Productions and photo wizard Xray DJ in Photography, we put together a solid book of assets the symphony can use for years to come.

The result was a more cohesive brand expression designed to carry the symphony’s story across platforms and performances.

Thank you to all of the musicians that took part in our many shoots.
